    Council is considering a lease for Manly Andrew 'Boy' Charlton Aquatic Centre Café.

    In accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Northern Beaches Council hereby gives Public Notice of its intention to consider a three (3) year Lease with a two (2) year option to SILO (KIOSK) PTY LTD for the café premises within Andrew Boy Charlton Swimming Centre, L. M. Graham Reserve, Kenneth Road, Balgowlah, being Part Lot 46 Sec 9 DP939916.

    The purpose of the lease is for the fit out and operation of a café within the Aquatic Centre.

  • Proposed Licence - Marine Parade Amenities Block (Manly)

    Council requires a licence to use land owned by the Archdiocese of Sydney for the reconstruction of the amenities block on Marine Parade destroyed in the June 2016 storms.

    The replacement building will straddle land owned by Archdiocese of Sydney and Crown land (of which Council are Trustees). Council intends to build on a similar footprint as the previous public amenities building. Crown have already provided permission to go ahead with construction on their portion of the land.

    The Licence Deed dictates that Council is responsible for the amenities block construction costs and has all responsibility for its repair and maintenance.

    Roads and Maritime (RMS) have requested to lease Hope Street Park (Council land) for six months to facilitate construction works associated with the Northern Beaches B-Line Program.

    A second construction lease is also required for the eastern portion of the park which RMS then intends to acquire.
