  • Background

The Pittwater Baseball and Narrabeen Tigers Junior Rugby Union clubhouse is located to the north-east of the main pitch at North Narrabeen Reserve, Warriewood.

The existing clubhouse is a prefabricated structure that was installed in the 1990s. It has been deteriorating over the years to the extent that the veranda and deck have been removed to allow the central section to remain in use.

An adjacent amenities building provides a kiosk, storage and male/female/accessible toilets. It is also in a poor state of repair and is due for replacement.

These two deteriorated buildings no longer meet the operational, health and safety requirements of the sports user groups, the Council and the community. Council is planning to replace these two temporary buildings with a new sports amenities building.

Council has been working with both clubs in the past few months and a preferred concept layout has been collaboratively developed to address the clubs' operational requirements. Prior to developing the final concept design, we are keen to find out what the community think about this proposal in terms of the building envelope including facades and roof form.
