  • Background

On 12 May 2016 the former Manly, Warringah and Pittwater Councils were merged to form a single entity – Northern Beaches Council. Following the proclamation all former Council policies, plans, strategies and codes will be revised.

The new draft Policy incorporates elements of the three former Council’s policies.

The changes in provisions in the new draft Policy include references to the Administrator; the
formation and provisions for the Implementation Advisory Group (IAG) and Local Representation
Committees (LRCs); guidelines around the use of e-tags; arrangements for damaged and / or
broken equipment and the deletion of the provision of Glen St Theatre tickets (former Warringah
    Council provision).
