  • Proposed change to DA notification process

On 28 October, 2014 Council resolved to exhibit a proposed change to the Development Application notification process outlined in the Warringah Development Control Plans (WDCP 2000 and WDCP 2011).

    View Council Report

The change relates to the amount of information that is sent to adjoining properties relating to a Development Application and other associated applications (including Section 96 Modification of Consent and Section 82A Review of Determination applications).

Under the change, adjoining properties will no longer receive A4 Site and Elevation Plans in the mail, but rather a notification that will include a reference to the relevant section of Council’s website, where all the relevant plans can be viewed.

Hard copies of all plans and documents will still be available at the Civic Centre, Dee Why during the notification period.

The benefits of the proposed changes are to both increase Council's efficiency and reduce:

    • administration costs
    • paper
    • demands on machinery

This change will be reflected in the Warringah Development Control Plans.

For further information contact Bronwyn Neal on 9942 2340.
