    Under Section 154 of the Roads Act 1993, Council gives notice of its intention to consider a lease for a term of five years to the owner of 3A Paling Place Beacon Hill, for an area of approximately 15.26 square metres of road reserve adjacent to 3A Paling Place Beacon Hill (Lot 1 SP 53085).

    Under Section 35 of the Roads Act 1993 the Minister for Lands and Forestry is considering closing part of Harbour View Street Clontarf.

    The road reserve under consideration consists of approximately 70 sq m of council public road adjoining 3 Harbour View Street Clontarf (Lot 101 DP 601939).

    Upon closure of the road Council intends to sell the land to the adjoining landowner.

    Council (acting on behalf of the Minister) will receive submissions regarding the proposal. All submissions received will be referred to the Minister’s delegate for a decision.

    The purpose of the encroachment is to provide a barrier to retain existing ground level at the nature reserve for the 1.2m wide footpath that is required from the bin room/mail boxes area.

    The proposed partial road closure of The Loch Street Freshwater adjacent to 25 Loch Street is currently under review.

    We have received a Development Application (DA2015/1123) to sub divide 16 Ellen Street and proposes a driveway from corner of Wyadra and Batho Streets Freshwater. This driveway is proposed to be adjacent to the proposed partial Road Closure and is being managed by Council's planning team.

    The submission period for the DA has closed, however, the submissions received are available online.

    The Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services is considering closing part of Loch Street, Freshwater.

    The road reserve under consideration comprises Council public road, approximately 22.995m2 metres in length and 2.495m2 in width with an area of approximately 57.4 metres squared, known as Loch Street cornering Batho and Wyadra Avenue Streets, adjoining 25 Loch Street, Freshwater (Lot 8 DP14040 at Freshwater, Parish of Manly Cove, County of Cumberland).

    Upon closure of the road, Council proposes to sell the land to the adjoining landowner.

    Council (acting on behalf of the Minister) will receive submissions regarding the proposal. All submissions received will be referred to the Minister’s delegate for a decision.

    The proposed closure is under Section 35 of the Roads Act 1993.
