The Fees and Charges for Manly Youth and Community Centre are being re-exhibited through the Draft Delivery Program and Operational Plan and Budget 20/21 process.

Feedback already received during the initial engagement earlier this year will be considered as part of the Operational Plan and Budget 20/21 submission period.

However further submissions are invited during this exhibition period.

Following the Extraordinary Council meeting on Tuesday 5 May, Council resolved to place the Delivery Program 2020-2024 and Operational Plan and Budget 2020/21 for public exhibition.

As the Rescission Motion tabled on 5 May at the Extraordinary Council meeting was Lost, the Council resolution of Tuesday 28 April remains.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on the proposed new fees for the hiring of spaces in the Manly Youth and Community Centre.

Due to measures currently in place to manage the risks COVID-19, we are now unable to open these spaces for hire this financial year.

The proposed new hire fees will now be considered in the Delivery Plan and Budget 2020/21 scheduled for public exhibition in May.

Submissions received to date will be carried over, however if you would like to comment further, you will be able to do so during this process.

We will update this page with the links to the draft Delivery Plan and Budget 2020/21 when available for viewing.

Manly Youth and Community Centre is located in Kangaroo Street, Manly (previously known as Kangaroo Street Youth Centre).

Over the past year the Manly Youth and Community Centre has undergone a major renovation and it is nearing completion.

The former office spaces of the Adolescent and Family Counsellors have been enlarged to become meeting rooms.

The renewed community facility has upgraded amenities and improved accessibility. The reconfiguration of internal spaces has provided more spaces for community hire.

• Hall - 141 square metres
• Large meeting room - 63.8 square metres
• Small meeting room - 17 square metres
• Activity room - 44 square metres

* Floorplans are not yet available due to the renovation taking place

At the meeting on 25 February 2020, Council endorsed the exhibition of fees and charges for the Manly Youth and Community Centre.
