Oct 2020: New fees adopted by Council

At its meeting on Tuesday 27 October, Council adopted exhibited fees for Events and Manly Cemetery.

The recommendation also endorsed the Stallholder fee for large-scale events also be exhibited for a minimum 28 days.

Oct 2020: Engagement summary

The draft fees for the above were exhibited for 30 days commencing on Tuesday 30 June. Individuals registered on this platform to receive updates on Fees and Charges and were notified of the opportunity to make a submission. The Community Engagement Newsletter on Monday 26 July also promoted the proposed fees.

The community engagement project page had 148 visits with 130 unique visitors. The exhibition resulted in no submissions.

Jul 2020: Submissions closed

The submission period for the proposed fees closed on Wednesday 29 July, 2020.

The proposed fees will be presented to Council for adoption later this year.

Jun 2020: Council endorses new fees for exhibition

At its meeting on 23 June 2020, Council adopted Fees and Charges 2020/21, which were publicly exhibited from 6 May until 7 June.

The events fees as well as a surcharge fee for burial on weekends at Manly Cemetery were not exhibited as part of the draft Fees and Charges. However, were endorsed for exhibition at the meeting.

The events fees are for stalls, Sun Run, ticketed events, entertainment, merchandising, food and beverage.
