New outdoor recreation space
As part of the Let's Play! Open Space and Outdoor Recreation Strategy, Beverley Job Park has been enhanced with new facilities designed for young people and the wider community.
Community-Driven Development
In 2023, over 400 local youths were consulted about new facilities. Their input, along with broader community feedback in 2023, strongly supported the development of a multi-use hard court and additional recreational spaces.
New Features
The enhanced outdoor space now includes:
- A new multi-use hard court with line markings to accommodate various formal and informal recreational activities
- An open grassed area complemented by new shade trees, providing opportunities for passive recreation
- A grassed embankment for passive recreation and viewing of sporting activities.
Designed for Everyone
Whether visitors prefer formalised games or relaxed lounging, the upgraded Beverley Job Park offers something for all community members to enjoy.
For more details on the engagement process and outcomes, please refer to the Community Engagement Report.
We invite all residents to visit and experience the new Beverley Job Park - a space designed by the community, for the community.
