AFZ re-established

Between 27 August and 27 September 2021 we engaged on a proposal to re-establish the Church Point AFZ within existing boundaries for a period of up to four years.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

At the meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2021, Council endorsed the re-establishment of the Alcohol Free Zone in Church Point for a period of up to 4 years, from 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2025.

About the Church Point AFZ

The Church Point Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ) extends from the cargo wharf in McCarrs Creek Road to the eastern end of the Church Point carpark.

The AFZ only covers roads, footpaths and public carparks contained within this area.

The existing Church Point AFZ was set to expire on 9 December 2021.
