Creative Warringah

Consultation has concluded

The Creative Warringah project aims to motivate and enable opportunities for us to become creative and to contribute to the wellbeing of our communities and neighbourhoods through arts and culture.

We will develop a high level and succinct strategy that can set the broad directions and priorities for Council to focus on over the next five years or so in seeking to enable a ‘Creative Warringah’ – connecting people, places and programs through arts and creativity.

We believe that arts and the process of creative expression can contribute positively to the wellbeing of individuals and of communities and we welcome your views and continued involvement in this exciting project.

The Creative Warringah project seeks to motivate and enable opportunities for us to become more creative and to contribute to the wellbeing of our communities and neighbourhoods through arts and culture.

The Creative Warringah project seeks to motivate and enable opportunities for us to become more creative and to contribute to the wellbeing of our communities and neighbourhoods through arts and culture.

Warringah community members have spoken up: we need places, spaces and creative opportunities that create vibe and life and make us stop for a moment and think and appreciate our surroundings. Places that are welcoming, fun, beautiful, crazy, wild, or just a bit left of centre.

We will develop a high level and succinct strategy that can set the broad directions and priorities for Council to focus on over the next five years or so in seeking to enable a ‘Creative Warringah’ – connecting people, places and programs through arts and creativity.

We believe that arts and the process of creative expression can contribute positively to the wellbeing of a community – however the arts should not be reduced to a function of other objectives. Arts and creative expressions are important in their own right.

The Creative Warringah project will lead to the development of a Strategy that will replace the 2007 Cultural Plan.
