Planning Agreement approved

Council received an Offer to Enter into a Planning Agreement with the developer of 16 Macpherson Street, Warriewood (VPA2023/0001) which involves the developer delivering infrastructure as Works-In-Kind, as the infrastructure proposed is identified in the Warriewood Valley Contributions Plan.

The draft VPA relates to a Development Application (DA2023/0669) for the construction of 28 dwellings at 16 Macpherson Street, Warriewood which was approved by the Land and Environment Court on 28 November 2024.

We sought feedback from 13 March to 11 April 2025 and received 8 submissions, thank you to everyone who responded.

This feedback was considered and Council, at the 20 May meeting, agreed to enter into the planning agreement so that the infrastructure proposed can be delivered by the developer.

Once the executed Planning Agreement is registered on the title of the subject land, the consent for DA2023/06699 becomes operational.
