  • Proposed easement to drain water - Nanbarree Reserve, Farrar Street, Balgowlah Heights

    Under Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Northern Beaches Council is giving notice of its intention to consider granting an easement to drain water, one metre wide and approximately 15 metres in length, to the current owner of 11 Hogan Street, Balgowlah Heights (Lot 30 DP 36454) over part of Council community land known as Nanbarree Reserve, Farrar St, Balgowlah Heights (Lot 58 DP 31731).

    The purpose of formalising an easement is to enable the construction of an underground stormwater drainage pipe within Nanbarree Reserve. The proposed easement is to be granted in perpetuity.

    The granting of the proposed easement is subject to Council approval and payment to Council of an independently assessed value of compensation in respect of the easement.

    In accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993, Northern Beaches Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider granting an easement for drainage of water, 22.5 metres wide and 15 metres in length, to Oxford Falls Grammar School, the current owner of 1078 Oxford Falls Road, Oxford Falls (being Lot 1 DP 1046451) over part of Council Community land being Lot 21 DP 819277 Wakehurst Parkway Oxford Falls.

    Update: 21/8/17 Council authorised the proposed easement on 1 August 2017 and the applicant is now organising registration of the easement.
