Third Working Group Meeting

30 June 2017

The third meeting of the Freshwater Coastal Open Space Working Group was held at the Freshwater Surf Life Saving Club on Tuesday 20 June 2017.

Council staff presented a preliminary concept which reflected the community's feedback and scenarios as developed at the second working group meeting. A brainstorming session to work out the key elements was undertaken, including options for use and activities within open spaces, access connections, management of natural bushland and dunes, parking allocation, and the incorporation and interpretation of Freshwater’s history.

The result of this meeting will be translated into a final draft master plan. Prior the release of this plan for public exhibition, the draft plan will be further reviewed by internal stakeholders and the working group.
