  • Stage 2 Concept Design - Community Engagement Report

Thank you to all the community members who provided comment regarding the revised concept plans for the Glen Street Cultural Hub.

    The community engagement resulted in:
    • 28 people attended the drop-in sessions
    • 51 comments were received.
The engagement results showed that the community were predominantly concerned with the sale of the existing Belrose Library site, its future use and the playground loss. People also considered the onsite parking at the current theatre site insufficient and the need to address the traffic and pedestrian access to the site.

Positive feedback was received regarding the concept design. Generally people were enthusiastic about a new library. Constructive design ideas provided by the community will be used to inform the design development of the Project.
