We're pleased to announce the completion of the new roundabout at the intersection of Foley Street, Warriewood Road, Vineyard Street, and Jubilee Avenue. This project is a vital part of our Warriewood Valley Roads Masterplan, focused on enhancing safety and improving traffic flow for all road users.

The roundabout is designed to make daily commutes safer and more efficient, benefiting everyone who travels through this busy intersection. By implementing this upgrade, we aim to create a more effective road network that enhances your everyday journeys around our community.

Project Details:

• Construction of a roundabout at the Foley Street / Warriewood Road / Vineyard Street / Jubilee Avenue intersection
• Installation of a pedestrian refuge on the western leg of the roundabout on Jubilee Avenue.

Community Feedback:

We conducted community consultation between 27 February and 26 March 2024 and heard from 222 community members. The feedback told us:

• 90% of respondents supported the proposed roundabout, citing improved motorist and pedestrian safety
• 10% did not support the proposal, with some suggesting traffic lights or a stop sign as alternatives.

Outcome of Local Traffic Committee Meeting:

The report was presented to Council's Local Traffic Committee on 2 July 2024 (Item 4.10), with the roundabout approved for installation.
