We have received concerns regarding a lack of availability of parking in the Manly Seniors Centre (the Centre) Carpark.

The current 8P Parking restriction has resulted in an increase in longer-term parking activity, less parking turnover and a consequent shortage of parking spaces for users of the Centre and adjacent facilities.

We have reviewed the site and propose changing the existing 8P timed parking to a “4P Timed Parking unless signposted otherwise” restriction. The restriction will apply between 8am and 8pm every day and will be signposted prominently at the entrance to the carpark.

The 4P time restriction would apply to all vehicles parking in the carpark with the exception of users of spaces signposted for Meals on Wheels volunteers or for disabled parking with a valid mobility permit.
