Thank you for your feedback on the proposed re-establishment of the Mona Vale Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ).

A report noting the outcome of the public exhibition will be presented to Council at the meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2021.

The report recommends that Council re-establish the Mona Vale Alcohol Free Zone for a period of up to 4 years, from 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2025.

Due to recent public health orders, the Council meeting will be held remotely. You can watch the live stream via the webcast from 6pm.

About the Mona Vale AFZ

The Mona Vale Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ) is bounded by

  • the junction of Darley Street and Pittwater Road to the north
  • along Surfview Road to the east
  • through to close to the junction of Mona Vale Road and Pittwater Road.

The AFZ only covers roads, footpaths and public carparks contained within this area.

The existing Mona Vale AFZ will expire on 9 December 2021. The proposal is to re-establish the AFZ from the period of 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2025.
