We're excited to announce that we'll soon be building a skate park in North Curl Curl.
The North Curl Curl Skate Park has been eagerly awaited on by many and is an identified feature of the North Curl Curl Community Centre Masterplan.
There are different ways in this first stage of consultation to comment and share your ideas on what should be included or considered. You can:
- post an idea on our Ideas Board
- complete a comment form
- write to us marked 'North Curl Curl Skate Park', Northern Beaches Council, PO Box 82, Manly NSW 1655.
The final design for the skate park will align with the size and nature of the allocated area, and the project budget and timeline.

The vision of the North Curl Curl Community Centre Masterplan is to provide a multi-use facility that promotes shared use and inter-generational engagement. To create cohesion with the rest of the precinct, we'd like to explore an environmental theme for the skate park and promote a space to play, teach and learn.
With this in mind, we encourage the community to help us identify some guiding principles for the skate park design.
One option is to build a skate facility that meets skating needs not already catered to on the Northern Beaches. Click here to access information about current skate facilities on the Northern Beaches.
The intent of the North Curl Curl Community Centre Masterplan is to provide a long term strategy for improvements to be undertaken over the 2019-2022 period on the North Curl Curl Community Centre precinct. The overall masterplan is being implemented in stages and has already started with the construction of the community garden and the Council nursery facilities.
