Lease granted

We granted a 5 year licence to H20, a small local business in Narrabeen, for 36sqm of outdoor dining on land known as Berry Reserve, adjacent to the café premises at 3/1431 Pittwater Road Narrabeen.

The licence enables H2O to operate its business on Council land, providing seating and other dining facilities to customers of the adjoining restaurant.

The licence took effect as at 21 September 2023.

What was the public notice for?

A small local café in Narrabeen, H20, sought a five (5) year licence for 36sqm of outdoor dining on land known as Berry Reserve, adjacent to the café premises at 3/1431 Pittwater Road Narrabeen.

The business had an existing outdoor dining licence, on a rolling basis, to use the 36sqm of outdoor dining space on Council land at this location.

They reapplied for a five (5) year licence for the existing area. The licence did not make any changes to the current licence arrangements and was subject to a licence fee payment.

The licence enables the applicant (H2O) to operate its business on Council land, providing seating and other dining facilities to customers of the adjoining restaurant.

In accordance with Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, we gave notice of our intention to licence the land formally known as Lot 27 Sec 1 DP 12600.

The community were able to have their say by completing the submission form on this page, emailing us directly or in writing.

Submissions opened Friday 14 July and closed Sunday 13 August 2023.
