AFZ re-established

Between 27 August and 27 September 2021 we engaged on a proposal to re-establish the Palm Beach AFZ within existing boundaries for a period of up to four years.

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback.

At the meeting on Tuesday 26 October 2021, Council endorsed the re-establishment of the Alcohol Free Zone in Palm Beach for a period of up to 4 years, from 1 December 2021 to 30 November 2025.

About the Palm Beach AFZ

The Palm Beach Alcohol Free Zone (AFZ) is bounded by Ocean Road from the rock pool end, through to the junction with Palm Beach Road.

The AFZ only covers roads, footpaths and public carparks contained within this area.

The existing Palm Beach AFZ was set to expire on 9 December 2021.
