Tender process underway

What's happening now?

G8 education have made the difficult decision to close the centre. This is largely outside of Council’s control.

The lease, held by G8 Education, is coming to an end. Under the Local Government Act, Council is required to run a tender process to award a new lease for the centre. While G8 Education was given the option to keep the centre open during the tender process, they made the difficult decision to close the centre and vacate the site.

Council understands how stressful and disruptive changes to childcare arrangements can be for families. G8 has informed us that they are working to accommodate as many families as possible at their other local centres.
