Learn more about AFZs currently in review

A number of existing Alcohol Free Zones (AFZs) across the Northern Beaches Local Government Area (LGA) are set to expire in 2021.

AFZs are reviewed every four years and publicly exhibited for 30 days as per the Ministerial Guidelines on Alcohol Free Zones 2009

AFZs cover roads, footpaths and public carparks in designated areas across the Northern Beaches.

The AFZs currently up for review are located in: Avalon, Church Point, Dee Why, Freshwater, Mona Vale, Newport, Newport Residential, and Palm Beach.

We are proposing to re-establish these zones within existing boundaries for a period of up to four years.

Click on the tiles below to find out more about an AFZ in your area and have your say by completing the submission form associated with that area.

Submissions close Monday 27 September 2021.
