What was exhibited?

Our public art program creates opportunities for artists and the community to celebrate the creative life of the Northern Beaches in public spaces and places.

The Public Art Policy and Guidelines, adopted at the May 2019 Council meeting, provide a framework of principles that express Council’s commitment to the vital role of public art for the Northern Beaches.

We have reviewed the policy and guidelines and no amendments are proposed. Reviews occur at least every four years as part of our commitment under the Northern Beaches Council Operational Policy – Policy Framework.

While our review has resulted in no changes to the Public Art Policy at this time, we are exhibiting the policy as-is and invite community comments.

We will review and consider all submissions to determine whether any updates or changes will be made based on community feedback.

You are invited to have your say by:

  • completing the comment form below
  • emailing council@northernbeaches.nsw.gov.au
  • writing to us marked ‘Public Art Policy’, Northern Beaches Council, PO Box 82 Manly NSW 1655.
