Between 23 February and 23 March 2023, we provided notice of our intention to enter into a three-year Construction Lease with Warringah Golf Club (ACN 000 085 601).

The purpose of the lease is for Warringah Golf Club to build a new golf clubhouse within the existing Warringah Recreation Centre site.

The lease has now been approved subject to the DA approval process.

What was proposed?

We provided notice of our intention to enter into a three-year Construction Lease with Warringah Golf Club (ACN 000 085 601).

The purpose of the lease is for Warringah Golf Club to build a new golf clubhouse within the existing Warringah Recreation Centre site.

The clubhouse will be situated at the northern end of the site which is part of Lots 1 and 3 DP829465 (also known as Part Lot 2742 DP 752038), Kentwell Road, North Manly.

On Tuesday 14 February 2023, Warringah Golf Club lodged a Development Application (DA) DA2022/2081 for construction of the proposed clubhouse building. Submissions related to the clubhouse construction should be made via the DA submissions link.

On completion of the DA process we will finalise the community facility works including the detailed planning of additional parking, tennis courts and squash courts.

We invited submissions on the proposed Construction Lease through completion of a submission form, emailing Council or in writing.

Submissions closed Thursday 23 March 2023.

Council is the owner of land and buildings at Lots 1 and 3 DP829465 (also known as Part Lot 2742 DP 752038), Kentwell Road, North Manly and this public notice is in accordance with Section 47a of the Local Government Act 1993.

The granting of the lease is subject to Council’s final approval.
