Key Features:

New Footpath

The concept design proposes to build a 1.2m wide concrete path along the northern side of Hudson Parade. The width of this path will vary in sections as required.

Kerb and Gutters

To make allowance for the new path, we are proposing to relocate the kerb and gutter 0/5m south along Hudson Parade between the end of Delecta Avenue and 150 Hudson Parade.

Parking Changes

This design will also require an extension of the parking restrictions on the southern side from 153 - 167 Hudson Parade.

Driveway Works

To ensure driveways match the upgraded kerb and gutter, partial reconstruction of all driveways will be required between 150 Hudson Parade and the southern end of Delecta Avenue (on the northern side of the road).

Tree Removal

To complete these works, 12 trees will require removal. Existing trees over the new footpath would also require trimming of branches to ensure pedestrian safety and access.

All removed street trees will be replaced with mature natives.

Retaining Walls

The design also includes the construction of two concrete block retaining walls in front of 142 Hudson Parade and 2 Delecta Avenue.

We are also proposing to upgrade the southern intersection of Delecta Avenue and Hudson Parade.
