Thanks to everyone who made it to our first information session. We had a great turn out of approximately 50 community members who came to learn more and discuss the preliminary design plans.

With a number of specialist staff present on the day, we were able to answer questions varying from roads and traffic, planning and design, and project timing. The majority of people we spoke to were positive about the designs however some wanted to discuss some aspects of the plans in further detail.

Some of the key themes addressed on the day include;

  • Bike Paths
  • Parking
  • Accessibility
  • Pedestrian Safety
  • B-line (Transport for NSW Project)
  • Bus Stop on Howard Avenue
  • Trees and Plants
  • Meriton Site Development
  • Current and Future State of Dee Why Town Centre
  • Spaces for seniors to relax and socialise together
Our Senior Urban Designer facilitated a guided walking tour through Dee Why Town Centre which was also a great hit.

To learn more and have your say, come along to our next info session Thursday 24 November 6pm - 8pm at Civic Centre, Dee Why.
