Triangle Park (South) was identified in the Dee Why Town Centre Masterplan for upgrades and improvements. During construction of the Meriton towers, Triangle Park (South) was leased to Meriton and used as a site compound. Following completion of the Meriton site and Council's Oaks Avenue and Howard Avenue streetscape works, the park has been restored to its intended use and upgrades have transformed this into an attractive site where you can sit, eat your lunch and watch the world go by. Works included:

• Widened pedestrian pathway from Oaks Avenue to Howard Avenue
• new seating
• 6 cabbage tree palms
• landscaping and new plantings
• upgraded lighting
• a mural commissioned by Meriton

Construction was completed in February 2020.
