We're creating a new recreation space at Killarney Heights Oval for the community to enjoy.
Our primary goal is for neighbourhoods to inspire social interaction, inclusion and support health and wellbeing. One of the actions from Let's Play! (our Open Space and Outdoor Recreation Strategy), is to look at improvements for Killarney Heights, including the potential for a new basketball hard court facility.

We anticipate works to be complete by the end of May 2026, weather permitting.
Between 2 February and 1 March 2024, we asked for your feedback on the draft concept plan. We received 121 responses to the proposal, with a majority in support of the new hard court facility.
