We’re building a new 1.5 metre wide footpath along Crescent Road Newport as part of Council’s New Footpath Program to improve pedestrian safety and connect residents to transport, parks and shops.

The new footpath will be built in the western side of Crescent Road between the existing footpaths at the Reserve and The Avenue.

Timing of works

Works are scheduled to commence within the 2021/2022 financial year.

Local residents will receive notification from the contractor at least 7 days prior to commencement of works.

Council will be working closely with the contractor to help minimise potential impacts to pedestrian and vehicle access during the works.
