North Harbour Reserve is a significant historical site and we have looked to recognise and celebrate its heritage through various aspects of the design.
Our aim is to address current issues and enhance recreational opportunities in this much-loved space, by:
- improving accessibility and connectivity
- protecting and enhancing the site’s open space landscape character and surrounding bushland areas
- improving the grassed spaces and park facilities
- ensuring it continues to cater to diverse users and activities.
At its meeting on Tuesday 23 February, Council resolved to adopt the North Harbour Reserve Landscape Plan.
The final plan is the result of collaboration with and input from the local community, including the North Harbour Reserve Community Group, and a range of external and internal stakeholders.
Thank you for your efforts.
