We are committed to building an inclusive and accessible community on the Northern Beaches. Improving the accessibility and inclusion of Council facilities, public areas and programs is a fundamental component of our project and service delivery and is supported by our Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP) 2022-2026.

Under Focus Area 2.08 of the DIAP, we have committed to "improve access to unisex accessible toilets in public spaces and Council assets".

Upgraded Amenities Completed - December 2025

The amenities upgrade, now features an additional accessible toilet and a baby change room, while retaining the existing configuration of two female toilets and one male toilet with a urinal. This enhancement was made possible through a modest extension of approximately <1m on the northwestern corner of the building.

To further improve user comfort and privacy, additional doors will be installed early in the new year.

Fresh Look for Bus Stop and Facade

The internal bus stop area and building façade have been revitalised with a modern design and new seating, complementing other improvement works underway in the surrounding precinct.
