We’re building a new footpath along Bix Road, Dee Why as part of Council’s New Footpath Program to improve pedestrian safety and connect residents to transport, parks and shops.

New 1.5m footpath will be constructed on the western side of Bix Road from Wigan Road to Lynwood Avenue, Dee Why.

Timing of works

The works will be completed within the 2021/2022 financial year. Residents will receive further notification from the contractor at least one week prior to commencement of works which will include details on timing and project contacts.

We will be working closely with the contractor to ensure works are staged where possible and measures are in place to help minimise temporary impacts to traffic and pedestrian access, noise and dust
