  • Proposed Licence - leachate treatment plant and pipeline to sewer - Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre

    In accordance with Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, Northern Beaches Council hereby gives public notice of its intention to issue a licence to Kimbriki Resource Recovery Centre (KRRC) to allow for the construction of a Leachate Treatment Plant on site, and a pipeline to connect to the existing Sydney Water sewer main situated in a Council public reserve known as Cooyong Road Reserve, being Lot 15 in DP237301 located to the rear of 25 and 27 Currong Circuit, Terrey Hills.

    The purpose of the construction of the Leachate Treatment Plant and associated pipeline is to provide a reliable method for the treatment and disposal of leachate generated on site.

    Notice of Proposed Licence of Council Community Land - Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993

    In accordance with Section 47A of the Local Government Act 1993, Northern Beaches Council hereby gives notice of its intention to consider granting a one (1) year licence to Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles Limited to use the land known as Brookvale Oval (Lottoland), Pittwater Road, Brookvale. The land is also known as Part Lot 1 DP 784268, Part Lot 1 DP 114027, Part Lot B DP 966128 and Part Lot 6 DP 785409, and the proposed licence includes appurtenances such as the fixtures, fittings, furnishings, plant, machinery and equipment installed at the Premises.


    The proposed licence agreement will enable the Licensee to use Council Community Land as a sportsground for the playing of rugby league football, training of players in rugby league football and ancillary uses as approved by the Council.

    The granting of the licence is subject to the payment of a licence fee and Council approval.

    • Lot 2, 3 & 4 DP 350940 Walana Crescent, Mona Vale
    • Lot 101 DP 749415, Lot 6 DP 239061 and Part of Lot 12 DP 241313 Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale

    The purposes for the lease are as follows:

    Lot 2, 3 & 4 DP 350940 Walana Crescent, Mona Vale - is for road widening purposes, particularly in relation to accommodating shared path, noise wall and 3m wide maintenance access track.

    Part of Lot 12 in DP 241313, 105 Mona Vale Road, Mona Vale - is for road widening purposes at the North-West corner of the intersection of Mona Vale Rroad and Samuel Street and construction access.

    Part of Lot 101 DP 749415, Part of Lot 6 DP 239061 and Part of Lot 12 in DP 239196 - is for on site drainage detention works to make sure the impact of road widening, and thereby additional road run off from the project, is captured on site to ensure the existing flows on downstream drainage are not exceeded.

  • Lease Consent of a Crown Reserve - The Boathouse Shelly Beach (Manly)

    CLOSED: This matter is closed for submissions and the lease documents are with the Minister.

    We are seeking to formalise a lease by the Shelly Beach Reserve Trust to The Boathouse Shelly Beach Collective Pty Ltd commencing in 2014 for a term of twenty five (25) years. As part of the formal approval by Department of Industry – Lands & Forestry notice must be provided of the Ministers intention to give consent to a lease of a crown reserve.

    Council started the approval process in 2014 and is now at the final stage prior to receiving formal Minister’s consent through the signing of the lease.
